Because it took us 24 hours to fly from New York city to Istanbul (due to a medical problem emergency landing turning into cabin pressure problem), Delta must have been feeling bad. They sent us free tickets. Yay!
So, back from Turkey. Amazing trip. Everbody so much fun, all the food so good. I gained weight.
One thing that suprised me a lot was the fashion trends in Istanbul. It was the same with NYC. I was expecting to know more or be more up-to-date as I was just in NYC a week ago but oh, well, women in Istanbul did not look any different than what I have seen a week before. I guess not spending much time there for almost a year and a half made a big difference for me, in terms of observing the change between what I have last seen and now. In some other ways, like technology, business ideas, there is still difference/newer things here but fashion, no. Kind of makes me happy, not that important though.
I do not know why this fascinated me.
Turkey's keeping up with some other trends will definitely make me happier, like human rights, conserving nature and history, economy, etc..
I liked seeing the Interent becoming more involved in many businesses.
I hope I will love my new job, starting on monday - October 27th.
