I spent a lot of time at the Kugulu Park (meaning the Swan Park) growing up in Ankara. It has a playground and a pond with real swans. I thought the swams were just so magical and enjoyed witnessing them right in the city whenever I could. Well, it seems like it is still magical enough for kids. Lula loves going there, feeding the pigeons with seeds, getting a little scared when the pigeons get too close, trying to feed the swans and geese with some seeds (hey swan, do you want to eat some food? hey!) and riding the merry go round.
Now we have a routine of going to the park every other day and getting Lula a new Turkish book on the way back to form a new library for her. It is pretty fun to see John "reading" the books to her.
