A few weeks ago, I had a quick trip to Lisbon with my friend Derya. My first three nights away by myself since Lula was born. I missed my girls terribly, but I also enjoyed having my brain only for myself, non-stop for the whole duration of my holiday very much. I could sit at cafes and sketch with no rush, I could stay up late and sleep in (still just a little bit, we had a lot to do) and I could eat slowly!
Lisbon is a city of hills and fantastic views. However, the three days we were there, the city was under a thick fog and we could not see these views, other than a quick three hour brake. So, I don't have many city shots but some interesting details from the city.
The clown shoes at the circus school Chapito's garden.
The mirror installment at the Berardo Museum.
The famous Pasteis de Belem.I was not a big a fan their traditional desert, the egg custard pastry, but everything else was very tasty, too.
